CBC Here and Now Interview with Dorothy

CBC’s Here and Now program interviewed Power of the Hour Executive Producer and our q media solutions Senior Partner Dorothy Engelman. The interview occurred the morning of her Power of the Hour launch at the Toronto Stock Exchange. Power of the Hour launched during national Volunteer Week, and inspired Canadians to raise 200,000,000 volunteer hours in 2010! Click here to listen to the interview.

Update: At the 2010 year end, we raised 3.4 million volunteer hours as Canadians. Just think about this for a second: there is only 8,760 hours in a year. For one individual to complete 3 million hours of volunteer service by themselves it would take 342 years. Our collective hours show just how powerful we can be when all Canadian volunteers come together and contribute as a team. Together, we can and will change the world.
