Barrick’s mines across the Americas are supplied the gold, silver and copper for the more than 4,000 medals  awarded during the Toronto 2015 Pan Am / Parapan Am Games. Barrick wanted to celebrate this contribution in a way that inspired customers and internal employees alike.

Real stories on the ground. 

We proposed telling the journey of the medals through the stories of employees working in these remote mining locations. We pre-interviewed a variety of Barrick employees across North America to find the perfect tie-in stories to celebrate athletes and the work being done on-the-ground to mine these metals.

With over 300,000 views, this series continues to be the most engaging content on Barrick’s Youtube channel.
