For the Year Two of their Research Matters initiative, the Council of Ontario Universities was looking to create a fun, engaging, dynamic promo. The challenge was to feature all 22 represented researchers within a limited amount of time and we opted to take the greenscreen approach. We set up in a studio at Ryerson and the researchers were filmed with two cameras, set one on top of the other, in order to maintain a straight-to-camera interview style. Then in post-production, Graeme and Josh designed a bold and fluid style that really brings the content to life.
