Every year Ontario graduates 800 doctors. But soon, we will be adding 200 to those numbers by incorporating and accrediting foreign medical graduates like Dr. Deema Abdul Hadi into the system. This is one of many videos produced for HealthForceOntario’s Access Centre profiling foreign trained doctors and their path-to-practice in Ontario. The videos are intended to explain to foreign trained newcomers how The Access Centre can help them gain accreditation in Ontario or to help them find work in a related healthcare field. The Centre is a tremendous resource for these talented individuals and for our health system which needs more doctors and healthcare professionals.
