Or at least in this case we did. We received the initial call at 5:50pm on a Friday. Edelman needed a video to support Kraft’s announcement that they were making a major change to their hockey sponsorship. And they needed it Monday morning to review for the Tuesday announcement.
The Q team had mostly scattered for the weekend with only Richard and Steve in the office. Steve was game to shoot a few kids’ hockey games on Saturday and edit on Sunday. Richard decided to translate his beer league experience into a poignant ode to hockey, the game the dreamers play. Steve then took the script, made a little magic and delivered Monday morning at 9:00a.
At the end of the spot you realize that, strike or no strike, the game goes on.
