Matamec Explorations is a junior mining company that explores for heavy metals in Northern Quebec. Director Graeme Mathieson and Cameraperson Steve Adamcryck had quite a day filming this spot: flying to North Bay from the Island Airport at 8:00a, transferring to a Vietnam-era helicopter and traveling 45 minutes to the mine site in a convoy of seven choppers, and then flying out again at 3:00p. Between the excitement, they shot this spot. Graeme's strong graphics amplified the footage and gave the commercial a distinctive look and feel.
