Rethink Risk

How do you counter the idea that safe investing is not necessarily safe?  That’s that challenge AGF gave us – to explain how you can actually lose money investing in fixed income instruments like GICs or Bonds – and to do it in a light-hearted way that tied back to AGF’s history of fun ads.

So we came up with Vicki, the over-protective mom who literally bubble-wraps her son. While there’s part of any parent that would like to do that we know it’s not possible or healthy. Same holds true for investing, you can’t bubble wrap your investments.

The spot and print ad give audiences a fun and eye-catching visual metaphor to address a tough investing subject.
