Conall

good food, good meat, great clients, let’s eat!

It’s Friday morning and the Q office is abuzz—the editors are working to meet deadlines, shoots are being planned for the following week, scripts are being finalized and sent for feedback – yet amongst all the commotion there is one question percolating in the back of everyone’s mind: what’s for lunch today?

Friday lunch is like a holy tradition at Q. It’s the guarantee that at the end of another productive week, we as a team get to take a breath, take a break and bond over a (hopefully) delicious meal (take-out can be a gamble if we are in the mood to try something new…)

It gives us a chance to discuss what we’ve been working on, share ideas and feedback or just get to catch up on each other’s lives. It’s just one of the few perks our Q team enjoys, and one of the fundamental points that bonds our Q-work family.

Friday lunches are an extra-special occasion when we have the opportunity to bring in vendor partners (hey Simon from Resolve!) and/or our special clients to break bread (or taco shells, or pita, or pizza crust…) Recently we hosted the lovely ladies from the Globe and Mail and got to reminisce over all the crazy-fun projects we’ve collaborated on in the past, as well as share what’s on the horizon for our teams.

If you’re interested in joining the Q-team for some Friday fun don’t be shy and let us know! The more the merrier! (But seriously, we just ordered more chairs…)
